[ȓədɔːz ], 1965 in Los Angeles gegründete amerikanische Rockgruppe um den Sänger und Songschreiber Jim Morrison in der Besetzung Ray Manzarek (* 1935, Keyboards), Robby Krieger (* 1946, Gitarre) und John Densmore (* 1945, Schlagzeug). Die Gruppe war in der zweiten Hälfte der 1960er-Jahre - nicht zuletzt durch den charismatischen Morrison - eine der einflussreichsten Rockformationen.
